So, yes, apparently I fail at actually meeting up with people. :-/
I made it to the con for a couple of hours this afternoon, after picking up a stray
coyotegestalt and [sorry, I don't think that I ever got your online name] in order to give them a ride to a nearby bank first. I picked up a handful of books and other swag, did some wandering around, randomly ran into the guy who sold me my comics this past Wednesday... and then basically fled back to my apartment for Doctor Who watching, because I'm sorry, but I can only handle huge crowds of people for so long before something snaps.
... yeah, that was pretty much my day. I'm now getting ready to break out the alcohol and start working on fic. Theoretically, at least.
ETA: Also, fair warning, but I might be spamming Dreamwidth/LiveJournal a bit tonight. I'm off work, and I expect that I'll be spending quite a bit of time online for the rest of the evening.
