If anyone needs somewhere to crash, it looks like my room's going to have extra space Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday nights. Just let me know if you're planning on coming in early/staying late and need somewhere to sleep.
If anyone plans on making a trip to Dominick's, I just wanted to put it out there that I have a Safeway card if you want to possibly save a few dollars. Dominick's and Safeway are owned by the same company, so the discount card works there, as I found out last year.
I'm flying into Chicago around lunchtime Wednesday, and my slight's supposed to get in sometime around 1:30(ish) or so. I plan on flying back around lunchtime the following Monday, putting me back in DC just in time to drag myself and my luggage across the city in the middle of rush hour. Because I'm a genius that way. /o\
Also, I've been told that I need to try to eat at Zed 451 while I'm in Chicago. It's owned by the same company that owns my restaurant, and I have to admit that I'm a little curious. It's, uh, a bit pricey, but I'm still tempted to give it a try on Wednesday night, just so I can tell Chef R and General Manager S that I went there.
Three, possibly four, more days at work. And then I'm free! For a whole week!
