How do I manage these things?
So... three guesses who managed to fall flat on her face at work today? *headdesk* Oh, how I wish that I was kidding.
Long story short, when they finished mopping the floor this morning, they left the mats that cover the floors piled around the building instead of spreading them out. This, basically, left several two feet tall stacks of mats piled on the floor that the servers had to step over to, you know, get to the dining room and do our jobs.
You can guess what happened next. :-/
On the bright side, I have the night off! On the more negative side, I have a shallow inch or so long cut above my right eye. There's a bruise forming on the right side of my nose where my glasses were shoved into my face by the floor. My right elbow is black and blue. Oh, and my right thigh is slowly turning a shade of dark purple that I'm fairly certain shouldn't be found on a human being unless Crayola products are involved.
