Yeah, it's always really obvious when one of the various Whoniverse shows is currently airing new episodes. I tend to talk about the shows in general a lot more than I do the rest of the year. *sheepish grin* For those of you on my friends list who don't watch Doctor Who or its spin-offs? I'm sorry.
That said, vid rec! "Tenth Doctor: The Musical," with guest appearances by the First, Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, Seventh, Eighth, Ninth, and Eleventh Doctors. Streaming via
YouTube or available for download
here (ETA: or on LJ
here). Go, watch. It's brilliant. Also,
it's now my personal canon that all of the previous incarnations of the Doctor are sharing a flat inside the current Doctor's head, watching everything that's going on with the current regeneration. Fic, please?
The Sarah Jane Adventures casting spoilers are still making me smile. I expect that will continue, oh, until the episodes air.
I have to admit, I'm definitely a little worried about some of the things that are going to be happening with Marvel this year (especially some of the things going on with Steve Rogers), but for the time being I'm trying to stay cautiously optimistic.
This picture of all the upcoming Avengers teams helps. As does the fact that the new issue of X-Factor comes out this week. And I'm still looking forward to the Avengers Prime miniseries.
In other news, look at this e-mail that I got a little while ago:
Yes, Samantha =
inlovewithnight. Yes, we live together. Yes, we were sitting less than ten feet from each other. Yes, I was listening to music; still, theoretically there are ways of getting someone's attention that don't involve yelling from the next room over. I think this says a lot about both of us.
