I understand that you have busy lives and don't always see the need to spend five minutes on a homework assignment that's basically an easy "A." Believe me, once upon a time I was in your shoes. I completely get why sometimes you might feel the urge to copy someone else's homework a few minutes before class begins ( Read more... )

I tended to be the person people tried to copy from and while that was annoying I tended to refuse because they couldn't seem to do it intelligently. This was especially true on the short answers and such where you have to present the answer in your own style. (Duh!) Yet people can't seem to grasp that the papers are all corrected by the same person who knows what kind of work you turn in and your level of competence in writing/grammar/vocabulary. Plus, it's an insult to the intelligence of the teacher/TA/etc.

*pats you*

Hee. Mugwumps.

Yep. This is the magnet high school in one of the larger cities in Tennessee. So, in theory, they're supposed to all be on honors level.

I let someone copy my homework once, not realising they were completely stupid.

At least one answer was more of an opinion than a true answer. And he copied it word for word. -_-
