Beta?
Okay, here's the deal. Sometime later this week (as in, probably the weekend though I might get it done earlier), I'm going to need a beta reader. It's for a crossover between Doctor Who (mostly EDAs and New Who with a sprinkling of Torchwood, though some Classic Who and/or BFA knowledge would be good) and NCIS (through mid-S5), focusing on Fitz Kreiner. It's rated around a PG-13, and it's slash featuring the pairing of Fitz/Tony.
Did I mention that it's going to be over 30,000 words?
A passing familiarity with any of the following canons would be great: NCIS (S1-S5; there's also a slight mention of the JAG crossover that spawned the series), the EDAs, Big Finish audios (namely the Eighth Doctor stories and "Gallifrey" - though there's a few references to other Doctors' stories, New Who (S1-S4), Classic Who (in general - lots of casual references), Sarah Jane Adventures (just vague mention of characters/events so it's nothing major), and Torchwood.
Pretty much every single main character or major recurring character from NCIS is in the story, as are pretty much all of the companions of the Eighth (mostly EDAs, though his BFA companions are mentioned), Ninth, and Tenth Doctors. Several members of Team Torchwood show up. Quite a few Classic Who characters are either present or mentioned. There's also an attempt to mesh the BFA and EDA canon, though I'm not sure how well it succeeds.
Like I said, the main pairing's Fitz/Tony. There are hints of other pairings as well - femslash, het, slash, and threesome. Oh, and Jack Harkness makes a couple of appearances . . . do I really need to say more?
Anyone interested? I've already got one person who's agreed to take a look at it, but - considering the length - I think several eyes would work better.
