funny story guys...
I got fired from the bank...-_-
so life is pretty crazy right now. Im still not sure about the whole, where Im going to live thing...but I love it here! and I dont want to go live somewhere else!
So yesterday was pretty crazy, I got off work at 7:30 and came straight home to lisa, then we just goofed off around the house, I had some dinner...her mom makes an AWSOME red bell pepper soup! and then we went to subway. But on our way there, lisa decided that she wanted to walk in the middle of the road, so she did. There wasnt a SINGLE car in the road, and then like 30 seconds later, of all the people in the WHOLE city that could have turned the corner, it was a cop with his police dog in his patrol car. I thought I'd die luaghing. so we get to subway, and talk with the woman who was working there, and she says to come back in, and maybe have some drinks sometime or something. We get back to the house, after lisa...does her thing on the way home...something I WONT MENTION! I had to convince her that i dont care that she smokes and all this stuff...gosh! she's really crazy sometimes, but thats okay ^_^ she's still pretty much the best gf ever. So we stay up till like 2 playing vice city, and then the next day comes...which is today. I found that my ipod isnt the greatest alarm...so for all of you out there who are thinking of using it as one...dont! they suck. Anyway, I got up, went to work, got fired, because I took my money out of a custodial account with my dad and put it into my account so he couldnt get to it, little did I know at the time of the transaction that this is technically a federal crime. So I got the boot, they couldnt have told me that i was going to be fired over the phone when I called them and told them I would be late because I didnt wake up to catch the bus in time. no, they had to make me bus 5 miles to work, to get told Im fired, and that the money that I transfered is going BACK to my parents, and that there's nothing I can do about it. Also, my parents took 1500$ out of my Certificate of deposit, AND my final paycheck for 500$ is being sent to their house. so all in all, thats almost 2400$ that I just lost, along with my only source of income. Pretty awsome day huh?
well it got better, I got to spend the day with lisa, which is always great, and then I talked to jon shoop online and he came over and the three of us went to northgate and I got some job applications to American Eagle, Express, Starbucks, and Hollister which is awsome. And once we were done with the application retrieval we all went and ate at panda express, which was great! Jon is HELLA funny, god I love that guy...I was laughing like the whole time, and he even came and picked us up! and gave us a ride home. I think it would be awsome if I got to work with him at the mall or something.
I guess...I'm okay with getting fired you know? That job was just so fucking stressfull, you have to handle hundreds of thousands of dollars of funds, that ARENT yours, and hope to god that you're in balance at the end of the night, on top of worrying that you get 98% on your customer service rating and that you're getting enough refferals or new accounts is what that really means and doing all the business letters, and birthday cards, and all this other crap on top of running an average of 400 transactions every day all while you're getting payed barely over minimum wage...what a shit job, let me tell you. then you have to deal with all the crazy fucking people that come in, make sure you know all these rediculous regulations, that you're following all the right policys blah blah blah, there's alot more, but I wont even bother typing it. Basically, that job sucked. You get alot of angry people that come in there because someone in the back office fucked up their account, and they feel they have to come into your bank and bitch to you, and tell you their whole damn life story and then expect you to remedy everything. This time I'll get a job where I get a discount on something, and its not NEARLY as stressfull and its WAY easier. So....Im actually kinda glad I got fired. My boss was like, we have no other choice than to terminate you...I was like, alright, whats the bad news? Im so done with the banking scene. That job fuckin sucks. so I have an interview on the 19th with hollister and then Im going to fill in my applications tonight. And I wont even have to get up to go to some dead end job tomorrow morning when I SHOULD be sleeping in. anyway, all in all, today was pretty awsome despite all the things that you would think would make you feel like shit ^_^
