Good for you for putting the work in, as all of the rest of them should have.
This is why we have so many fucking idiots in society: no rites of passage, no requirement to put in the work to get something out of life. I mean, yes, I'm totally generalizing there. Not all people fit that description, but certainly alot of morons that I've come in contact have.
And anyone who uses an open book to pass a test will surely lack the foundation of knowledge needed when whatever that test pertains to comes up in a real world situation.
But that's the thing. Sure, I'm taking this class because I need to satisfy a requirement. But what will I gain by being lazy and self-indulgent? These are the same people who expect jobs straight out of college. With the little effort they put into their education, the hand-holding they expect from their instructors, and their all-around attitude of being deserving of such treatment I highly doubt they'll make a successful workforce. As my stepfather says, (though I hate to quote him) "The world needs ditch diggers, Stasja."
Well, there is an old saying along the lines of, "A society who values intellect over labor is a society where neither the pipes, nor the ideas hold water."
Everything in life is about balance. But the root of balance is attitude, and to take out, you have to put something in.
Stoopid bitch in your ethics class. She should get run over by a hazmat truck. And your Astronomy prof? I've never even heard of such a ridiculous thing. Midterms with textbooks... Destroys the whole purpose.
I love cold weather accessories. I definitely don't live in the right state. lol
I could tell the girl in my ethics class didn't do her homework. I mean, what the hell crazy statistic is that? 93% of Americans think finding a cure for Alzheimers is a bad thing?
Well good for you, and not taking the easy way out. Proud of you Annie. Wish you luck on it. Anywho, Howl-o-Scream was fun. Hope to see you agian soon. Toodles!
It really comes down to your own self-worth. I would've felt like shit if I got an 100 on that exam by virtue of using my book, rather than working hard for it.
Good question... no clue.... I have to speak to my manager about either getting Thanksgiving or Christmas off.... I need one or the other, cause I've got family coming for both.... *sigh* I hope I can get Christmas off though... thanksgiving isn't that big of a deal to me.... and my family only fights on that day... anywho, why you ask?
I'm usually adversive to chilliness, but this morning was so refreshing. It was cool and breezy instead of buggy and muggy and a million degrees.
I consider myself to be a pretty moral person. I don't think pushing around your professor and cheating on a test are acceptable things. In fact, I thought I was just acting normal. LOL Regardless, I'm always yours. FOREVAH.
