All We Need Is One More Goal
I have no motivation to do anything at the moment, even though the homework is quickly piling up. I have a quiz next Tuesday in French, my first learning log for Aboriginal Epistimologies is due next Friday, as well as a presentation the week after that and the usual amounts of reading articles and book chapters and translating my novel for French.
Yet right now, when I actually have time to work on those things, I do none of them. I sit here and am bored and wonder what to do.
I really hate complaining too. If you have something that needs to get done, just... DO IT! Stop sitting around and get off your fucking as and DO IT!!!
Dad's been feeling better, apparently, but I haven't talked to him personally since I got back here. I also miss you guys rather profoundly. The mind always wants what it can't have.
In other news, I finally, finally, FINALLY got a new computer. OMG. It's so pretty. I talk to it, it's that pretty. It's white with green accents, and James helped me name it. It's name is Meadow. And it's so fast! It did my virus scan in an HOUR, and it would've taken my old one like, eight. XD;;
It's an HP Pavilion Laptop, 4 GB Ram, 2 GHz, 15.4" screen, and.... I don't remember what else. I got a cheap printer with it (or a printer as part of the deal of getting a computer).It was thirty bucks instead of like, a hundred twenty, but the downside was that it didn't come ready to use. I had to pay them an extra hundred bucks to install Windows Vista and stuff, but OMG NEW COMPUTER YEY. The keyboard's taking a bit of getting used to, but that's another small price to pay for a fast, elegant machine that goes with my room in comparison to a POS that doesn't always want to turn on. I consigned my old one at a computer store, so hopefully someone will buy it. =3
