My new manager asked me to look at my old manager's computer, her e-mails, looking for some information on some samples of products that the old manager approved.
And while I was looking through her e-mails, I saw that she had sent an e-mail to the BOSS asking for my review and to give me a raise.
I almost broke down. I didn't think that my old manager even tried to get me a raise, but she did.
God, I miss her. It isn't anything that she did for me, really. It's just the fact that she was there and now she isn't. It's very hard to lose someone who you've known for five years and who has been a constant part of your life for two of them.
