I'm out of the loop!

I realized that Dynasty season 4 part 1 has been out for a month, and I still haven't gotten it. Joan Collins, I FAIL YOU!!!! I AM SORRY!!!!

I've been going through all the stuff I need to worry about in preparation for my cousin's graduation thingy. Hotel room. Shit is EXPENSIVE. And we got an invitation in the mail to the party on Saturday. The day after we were originally going to leave. I don't know if we're going to go or not. I love my cousin. I love going to Ventura. I love my family there. But I really wanted to leave on Friday. That way I would have some time to recover before I went back to work. My grandma might want to stay for the party, she might want to go before the party, I don't know. I'm going to ask her when I talk to her in a little while. If she asks, I will tell her that I hadn't planned on staying Saturday, but the choice really is hers.

What I do know is that the hotels in Ventura for that period of time would cost me about 500 dollars to stay. And I'm pretty adamant against staying at my uncle's house. They've got eighteen people living there. In a four bedroom house. Ugh. Just ugh. My coworker said that if we Mexicans know how to do anything it's populate. She speaks the truth. She's also Mexican, so don't be thinking that she's a racist. We speak the truth about our people!

It's not like I won't have the money. I presume having to spend about 1000 dollars when one counts hotel and food and stuff like that. I have the money right now. Actually, I don't because I've only got about 500 spending money, the rest is tied into my precious Disneyland fund, and I ain't touching that shit unless I *NEED* to. I've got three paychecks coming out between now and then, and I've got to buy I think like 5 box sets before then. Well, I don't have to buy them (except Everwood season 2, I need that shit!), but I want to buy them. Plus, I'll want to get a new video game for the ride more than likely. Of course, there isn't much of anything out that I actually want to play right now. A look at the titles offered on gamestop.com between now and then does not reveal anything particularly appealing. Sucks. Helps me keep the funds in my account, but doesn't help me get the game I want to get before I leave. So it's kind of a double edged sword like that, I guess.

Tomorrow should be great, though. Hang with girltype. We gonna hit up the longhouse (haven't done that in FOREVER), and then we might go to a comic book store and hate on Wolvie. Good day. Damned good day.

Today... I dunno. I'm listening to Smash music (Brawl has such great music!), and I'm going to play again as soon as I finish this entry. Other than that, I really don't know what I'm going to do. Call grandma in a little bit. Probably watch some Critic. Maybe play some other games.

I really need some new hobbies.

dvd, life, money, family, video games, stuff
