History suggests that whoever gets cast as the 14th Doctor it won't be any of the supposed front runners the media have been touting.

I'm glad to see the back of Chibnall. Rehiring Davies is unadventurous, but he remains one of the best writers on British TV- and the shows he's created since leaving the franchise have been remarkable.

I hadn't seen his other shows since Doctor Who. I'm glad to hear he's continued to do quality work.
