NOTES: I finally finished this!, I can't believe it!!, english is not my first language but I did my best to write this entirely in english, I feel proud of myself :)
SUMMARY: After a difficult situation, Kurt decides to sing a song from a *secret* favorite band that helped him when the bullying was to much to handle, reaching three hearts in the process, but what will happen after? only time would tell.
Today was a special day at McKinley High, another School Assembly would take order in just a couple of minutes, and New Directions were told to participate again. Most of them where quite excited because they finally got to sing something from Green Day, but Kurt Hummel had other plans, he asked Mr. Schue for a chance to sing a solo after their group performance, his reason was simple: not only two hours ago Blaine, his perfect boyfriend Blaine had broke up with him, he cornered him during lunch, asked to talk alone, and then, in the security of the choir room he plain told him that he cheated on him during the week he was supposed to rest because of his surgery, he claimed that he didn’t cheat on him with Sebastian but Kurt wasn’t entirely sure about that, either way, it was over; it was a matter of time actually, they were just to similar to work in the long run, but thanks to the cheating Kurt didn’t feel like remain friends with him, it still hurt though, and that is why he decided to perform a song from one of his *secret* favorite bands, nobody knew that he liked that kind of music, and the reason was because that band actually helped him going through some difficult times in the past, when the bullying got worse and he didn’t know how to deal with it, now it was time to show his love and gratitude for them, singing this beautiful song to heal his heart, and move on.
Ten minutes later as New Directions finished his song and walked down to take their seats they were surprised when they realized that Kurt was still on stage, microphone in hand and a look of pure determination on his face, Kurt then started talking about what happened earlier with his now ex-boyfriend, which got Blaine some serious glares from their teammates and also from a rival that was today enjoying the Assembly as incognito and a former McKinley student that was seriously thinking about rejoining the institution, but Kurt didn’t really paid attention to this, he just signaled the jazz band to start playing while he just dedicated the song to himself, closed his eyes and then began to sing.
No warning sign. No Alibi. We faded faster than the speed of light.
Took our chance. Crashed and burned. No we’ll never ever learn
Blaine knew that he had hurt Kurt with his behavior, but honestly he didn’t think it was that much, now while he was listening to him sing with so much passion he realized that he had to make it up with him, they couldn’t be nothing more than friends, but that was worth it.

Sebastian couldn’t believe what he just heard, Blaine, *sweet and honest* Blaine cheated on Hummel?, and he didn’t cheated on with him?, that just couldn’t be possible, he couldn’t help but feel bad for Gay-face though, he was a fair rival after all, now that he wasn’t with Blaine anymore they didn’t have a reason to keep with their witty chat, and that was a real shame.

Dave couldn’t help but feel bad for Kurt, he was so awesome and proud to be himself, and his boyfriend decided to cheat on him anyway, that was just rude. Listening to Kurt singing like that was amazing though, he never thought Kurt would be a 30 Seconds to Mars fan, but he was doing that song a pretty good tribute, it was just amazing listening to it.

Finn wanted to punch Blaine so fucking bad, he wanted to punch him for making Kurt sad and for not doing it sooner, because that way he could just avoid propose to Rachel and making Kurt happy instead, it was bad to think about this, he knew that, but thank Cheesus they didn’t get married that day, because now that Kurt was single he finally have his chance, the chance to bare his heart to Kurt, and hope he still felt that way after all this time.

Sebastian started to feel a little draw to Kurt while he was singing, maybe it was because of the song, but he just couldn’t help to think more of what would it be having a relationship with him instead of with Blaine, and that was just fucking weird. That emotion going through the song, it was just too much for Dave to handle, he still thought that he loved Kurt, but he was aware that he wasn’t ready to be what Kurt needed, he needed someone sure of himself, without his self-stem problems, he was working on those, but he wasn’t still ready for pursuing Kurt, maybe someday, but for now he decided just to go, the transferring to McKinley put on hold for now.

Kurt was just so beautiful, his voice, his soul, everything about him was beautiful, Finn couldn’t help but think about it listening to him sing with so much emotion, and he wasted so much time running away from him, scared of what be in a relationship with Kurt would make to his reputation, he was so fucking stupid, he rejected a perfect human being who loved him in such a pure way, he wasn’t making the same mistake, even if he had to be the one pursuing Kurt, he was ready for it.

Only one look to her left was all Rachel needed to know that the time had finally come, she knew that Finn had feelings for Kurt, but he was just scared to let them get to him, now things had changed, and as she listened those heartbreaking words she just knew that Finn would be there to help Kurt to get back together again, she was happy for them though, it was time that those two finally got together.

And as he watched Blaine who looked like he wanted to talk to him, but apparently not to win him back he couldn’t help but think of something:
