OKAY OKAY TURNING AROUND A BIT: Akito sort of understands that she is a girl. Akito is actually very good with realizing when something becomes an undeniable truth before quickly ignoring it and covering it up. She sees it before trying to destroy it and protect her world. So, she realized that she is a girl, but she immediately reacted with HATRED and ANGER. And rather than openly saying, "HAHA FUCK YOU MOM I AM A GIRL AND THEY STILL LOVE ME", or any sort of thing like that. . . She kept persisting on the lie. She honestly wants to be a boy, if just because it's sort of another crack in the world she knows and loves that she wants to mend.
As far as how this relates to everything else, Akito uses it advantageously. She uses it to feel close, to keep people close to her, and so on. But she hates it. So, I think Akito really doesn't like sex, actually. She likes being able to touch people and have them hold her. But she doesn't want to be touched or anything like that.
AS FOR ME: I tend to just view Akito as. . . Whatever she wants to be! I actually switch pronouns for Akito in threads as she leans towards male or female. She's really both, and she is whichever she chooses to be at the moment. (Granted, when she's weak, she prefers to be female. And when she's strong, then she's male! . . . gj, Akito.) So, yeah, I just view her as being a person more than any sort of gender.

CHROME SHELLED REGIOS (which can be streamed @ animeseasons.com or lovelyanime.com) is set in a world where EVERYTHING IS DEAD!!! The land is ugly and the air is toxic and everyone lives in Roaming Cities which run around and are powered on Electronic Fairies which are a bit like the soul of the city. Most cities are smart! Because the world is overrun by giant filth monsters and most cities run away from these! Except for the city of Grendan, which is also Invincible Lance Shelled Grendan, where the strongest military artists are and the strongest of the strongest are the Heaven's Blades (there are 12 of them). Since Grendan doesn't run away from monsters, these Heaven's Blades are basically the defense.
THE QUEEN of Grendan can flatten everyone by breathing, she's also super compassionate. And likes groping people. She has a double who she treats very nicely. The queen is super dignified.

God, that is hard. . . I think I really like A Land of Decision By Majority and A Peaceful Land. Peaceful is, as expected, full of great mindfuck, but I really did like the guy in Majority and just. . . The feeling from it all. These also happen to be the countries where Kino is honestly not putting up with their bullshit, so. . . Yes.

. . . Dietrich is in a weird place! He isn't unhappy but he feels . . . odd? Since he's a psychopath who kills and tortures for relief in a way he feels somewhat . . . sated in a way because of his recent spree, but can't really put his finger on it since he can't remember it. He's also sulking a bit because of just. Cast stuff. Radu, Abel, the Fortunas, he knows he's outmanned and outgunned still so sulk sulk sulk! ALSO ESTHER DOESN'T LOOOOOOOVVVVVVVEEEEEE MEEEEEEEEEEEEE. But basically he's in a normal mental place for him.
Mukuro. . . he is on the upswing! He has made a new friend 8D . . . well okay, not really. But he has fun poking at Itachi, Chrome is back which means his balance with the Vongola can settle again. He's relatively content, except for the whole. . . Byakuran thing. His mood is kind of ehhh ehhh in general, but it is going up. He knows he has some loose ends to tie up and should get on those, but Camp has left him with a sense of anti-urgency in a way.

Oh, goddess, Joshua and religion, sob. /)_(\ Okay, he believes in God! He really does! It's not even that he's an Apostle, so that would give him some kind of hint that it's truth, not just his faith. But Joshua with and without that, he believes in God. He believes there's a plan, but he's not quite content to sit down and wait for it to reveal itself. (This becomes the whole free will argument that comes from religion. Frankly, Joshua doesn't believe he has it, but God hasn't stopped him from doing what he's doing, so clearly. . . This is part of the plan! . . . He doesn't get the plan, but he's just a single kid, okay!) He's actually a really good faux-Catholic nowadays, despite being. . . A murdering jerk and all. Honestly, he knows he has gone against some of the rules, is batting for the wrong team, and so on which means he's probably screwed in the long run, so he's not going to fight that! He's going to Hell, and that's that.
So, Joshua does love God, is faithful, and so on, but he also likes to keep people aware of what's going on. He has a lot of fun fucking with other people's faith to see if they can realize some of the hypocrisy and stick with it. (Like bashing on Chris, lolo.) I think the last part just comes from his being in such an awkward place as being an apostle with the horns of a demon. So, he supposedly acts according to God's will. . . But he hears the big one downstairs in his head. IT GETS A LITTLE MESSED UP, BUT HE DOES FAVOR BIG GUNS UPSTAIRS, REALLY.
. . . Actually, talk to me about, mmmmm, whoever you want with religion. I think you know who would be most interesting, more than me.

REBORN LOEV RELIGIOUS THEMED VILLAINS in a sort of backwards bastardized way. Mukuro's particular bastardization is sort of Buddhist. On one hand he is overly laden with the imagery, but on the other . . . well, come on, it's Mukuro. He hasn't learned to let go at all and his reincarnation cycle was probably not the way it should be.
He has a very complicated relationship with faith. Because on one hand, Mukuro has a sense of unshakable faith! He has to be able to put belief behind things to do what he does. On the other it's extremely malleable. He does have a few things he believes in unconditionally, somewhere, maybe. And he does have a "sense of faith", but not in higher powers and certainly not in other people. . . in general.
He isn't religious and holds a fair amount of scorn for the religious, but he is deeply spiritual, I guess is the best way to put it!

. . . God damn it. I AM NOT PICKING!! While I love the canon sweet couples, like Ashe and Takanari, I am probably most in love with Joshua and Azmaria then Shigure and Akito. I CAN NOT PICK BETWEEN THEM. I just love the sort of odd-dynamic that Joshua and Azmaria have between each other, not even when he's psycho-bait, but after that. . . It's all a lot of hypotheticals, but they're too very quiet and mild-mannered children who don't speak in words so much as actions. So, I love seeing them together after everything.
Then, Shigure and Akito are just hilariously messed up and retarded. There's something honest and true between them that is distorted through circumstances. . . But still it's just intriguing dynamics too. I like dynamics more than anything else, so I suppose that explains them both.
What type do you think you can not play? What type would you like to play right now that you don't already or just. . . Would like to play more of, I suppose.

Well, I learned how to do actions. Which are a godsend. So, if you sit me down and tell me to finish. . . Well, I finished all of the Shinshi's cast in about three days for each? Two for Shizumasa's. That'd be over a 100 for 'em all.
