While I'm being random, let me do a quick rundown on Yamato Nadeshiko Shichihenge. I watched another 3 episodes of the anime tonight, followed by the premiere episode of the drama.
Anime
The anime is... rediculous. And wonderful. It's probably my second-favorite Nabeshin production after Nerima Daikon brothers. Sunako is so adorable under her crazy, and the boys all get little bits of development, and overall it's a good balance of slapstick episodic events and the over-arching plot of Sunako's development.
Drama
It could just be the lack of subs, but the pace of the dialogue seems really hard to handle in live action. Also, it's a little distracting that the house is the same as the mansion from "Atashin'chi no Danshi" only run down and scary.
The story will include an adorable little boy, so will be different enough from the anime to amuse me. (Where Nodame was so similar that it was almost boring to watch over again.) They actually did a pretty good job on casting. Kyouhei is not blonde, which actually is nice. And the terrible beatings that happen to him (if they do) will be entertaining to watch Kame endure. And since Kame can actually act, it's not painful to watch.
Sunako looks like she'll do a good job, and they did a great job of staging her rooms to be properly scary.
Opening? Badass. Somehow, even this level of crazy seems like... it's ok.
The others: So far, I really like Ranmaru (my second favorite). He's the right balanace of playboy and lazy. Taka... take... whatever the black-haired one is called also looks quite nice, though since his love interest is annoying as crap I feel bad for him. And the cute one, Yuki... is just right.
Additional developments... like Sunako having a stalker photographer friend? Actually work really well to spread out the crazy into a drama-sized story rather than an anime-sized one.
I'm /very/ glad they didn't make Sunako nosebleed constantly in the live-action, and as crazy as her cape is... it's about right.
Also, cross-dressing of 3/5 of the male cast within the first episode? Why yes, show, I think you are a winner.
Lastly, I feel I should mention: Kame's hair. Guh. I will watch this show just to watch him flip his hair around. A++

Apparently I marry Okiayu-san, live in a time machine (Tardis?) in London. He has a career as a voice actor while I am a successful space marine. We spend fifteen years not having any children before we get divorced. I eventually die peacefully in my sleep, and he is mauled to death by a snow leopard.)
