A detailed summary of Maoh 3.
I may keep doing these, I rather enjoy it.

Naruse Ryou (Ohno) - angelic demon lawyer
Serizawa Naoto (Toma) - police detective
Hideo(?) - Naruse's younger brother, was killed Serizawa in an 'accident' in middle school
Yousuke - friend of Naoto's, was there the day Naruse's brother was killed. He's a debt collector, but dreams of owning his own bar.
Souda - member 2 of Naoto's group, was already hauled into the police once for abusing and extorting money from his girlfriend.
Kasai - Another of Naoto's friends, also an assistant to [his older brother] and having an affair with the brother's wife.
Shintani Tae - woman who used to work for one of Naoto's father's hotels. She is in pretty bad debt and is the last target that Yousuke has to get money from before he can retire and start his bar.
Lovely flashback. Remember that last episode left off with Naruse having laid out all his plans
The girl is Shintani Sora.
She has a lovely moment with Naruse when Shiori asks her who she came with. It's obvious that it was him, but she says she doesn't know who.
She says she does know where her house is though, so they head off to take her home.
Her mother comes back right on time, and Naruse removes any suspicion from himself by introducing himself as a lawyer.
In the hospital, Yousuke dies. The doctors insist that it was a natural result of his asthma, but Serizawa is vehemently convinced that he was murdered.
Naruse and Shiori part ways, with her mentioning that
Serizawa is ordered to step back from the investigation because he's too close and being a detective isn't about revenge.
None the less, he goes to Shiori with the bear,
In the morning, Shiori calls him to say that she's recieved a package from Amano Makoto.
When he arrives they find the Empress card. Shiori says that the Empress is a legendary ruler, especially representative of organized, fair leadership. This time she see's ['s] harmonica and the school and someone running away.
Naoto swears to protect her and walks to work at the library with her.
Leaving the library he spots Naruse and stops him, informing him that Sora's mother killed his friend. Naruse offers sincere condolences, and Naoto swears that he will catch the killer.
Naruse is obviously having issues thinking of killing her, she is so much like him and his mother.
In the church, Shiori prays. And tells Naruse that this may be her fault. She tells him about her power, but also says that she worries that her readings confused the police. She was told when she was young that the power was a gift from god, but now she fears it's an evil power... that she's being used by or becoming a demon. To his credit, Naruse actually looks striken.
"If you're a demon, then the world must be overflowing with them. I know. Demons live in another place."
Serizawa goes to ask Sora about the man that took her to the amusement park. She obediently says that she doesn't remember. In the shadows, she sends a victory sign to the same creepy-looking kid that Souda saw in the bookstore.
The next day Shiori tells Naoto that she feels she understands the reason the card was sent to her. She feels that whoever sent the card wants her to become an interpreter for someone who is dead.
Seeking out the spirit in question, she leads him to his own middle school.
The emotional effect on both of them is pretty obvious. I think /now/ Naoto knows what's going on.
Will inevitably add more to that when I get time to watch the episode again. Mmyep.
