Tis the Season

So holidays are here again. I'm on vacation until January 7th, woot. It'll be weird not going in for school, but a nice break too. We had the family Christmas get together today. It seemed to go so slow! The food was good, but boy oh boy, people should not have to open presents one person at a time. Children are also very impatient.

so I'm done with Christmas Shopping and wrapping of presents. Woot! Tomorrow Yale and I will go to Mom and Dad's for Christmas Eve and then the Morning. Oy, will the drive back be awful! We'll have to figure out how to get everything back to our house!

Mia and Percy are getting along much better. They haven't cuddled yet, but they play together a bit, Percy has stopped fearing her and she's not afraid of him either, just annoyed mostly. She is so cute! She plays quite well. Ironically, her foster mom said she wasn't very playful, boy was she wrong! Mia loves to play with the kitty dancer, she catches it very well, and then growls over it. She is still a little gassy, but that seems to be going down a bit, (thankfully!) She at times smells like an old man, (eww) and that of course is slightly disturbing! But with her being as cute as she is, its the price you pay!

I am going to start looking for an actual teaching position. I'm tired of watching other teachers lead their own classrooms. I want my own, that I can teach. I got a good review for my work thus far, a perfect score. No room for improvement, but I disagree, I could do more, and I'll certainly try to, but it does get hard, the work is boring sometimes. I've learned somethings just watching other teachers, mistakes I could have very well made, that I have some plans to correct before I make them. I know I need this change, and I hope I can find the right place to start.

Well enough blathering on, Happy Holidays to all!
