I hope you enjoy today. You have been working extremely hard of late.

Balthier shot a... giant chicken? Was it, by any chance... long-legged and bright yellow? (as seen in my icon?)

It's called a chocobo, and I thought they were only found in Ivalice. Amazing.

I... had one as a pet when I was a child.

Small world, small world. I've never seen anything like it before. I'm guessing that is our 'turkey' for Thanksgiving? I thought I would help with the cooking but I think Fran and Balthier took over the kitchen? Does Chocobo taste good?

That's quite an impressive pet. ..My mom had a cat once?

We use them as transport now and again. A very uncomfortable method of travelling... Knowing Balthier I would not be surprised, but I have never tasted one. It looks like we shall find out together.

It used to peck at Basch, for some reason...

I cant help but feel eating a chocobo is like eating a lesser horse. But it is, well... the other white meat, in a sense.

Probably because he wear sa colorful potholders on his chest? e___e

Yes, also, Balthier will most likely take it as a personal insult should we refuse to try it.

He didn't have the potholder then...

I bet he'll try to feed me the part that still has the bullet in it.

Oh. Well he is... strangely peculiar in that very likable way. I do enjoy fighting alongside him.

Hm. He wouldn't dare. I... do hope the two of you can call a truce, if only for today.

He also thinks very highly of you.

I'm good at truces. I'm willing too. Its the good thankful day, of course.
If I heard right, there is something called a Pumpkin Pie today for dessert?

Does he now? I'm touched. You have a very good court, Ashelia.

...Thank you. I have never heard of Pumpkin Pie either, but dessert has always been my favourite course of a meal.

I am fortunate to have many I can depend upon, but none moreso than... than you.

Is that right? You have a sweet tooth, don't you? Raspberry tarts and everything to appease your appetite. Pies are delicious and I've never had pumpkin before but I can only imagine it's good.

..Well..yes, you as well Ashe.. You make me terribly flusttered, I wish I was better in these situations to express my feelings >_>;

I am guilty of that charge, yes...

...I... I'm sorry. At times I cannot help but say how I am feeling. Too many things are left unsaid.

Ever been to a dentist? I bet they would scold you.

Well put. It's true the things we don't say we regret later. I'm gla dyou tell me your feelings, I need to practice doing that myself. You're a good influence.

Perhaps. Nevertheless, I intend to make the most of our meal.

Today seems as good a time as any to begin practicing, given the occasion.
