What the fuck was the background music for most of this episode.
I kind of miss robo!Sam. He was so adorable and soul-less.
If you lack the special effects budget to actually have a creature, um. Perhaps pick a different magical being?
More Serious Dislikes
I felt really ambivalent about Dean's reaction to Sam in this episode. Like, come on, his primary motivation for the entire previous season has been getting Sam's soul back, and then he manages to get his brother back (who he thought was DOOMED TO HELL) and... immediately wants to leave him to sleep and hop in the car and go hunting? Goes to San Francisco? Doesn't, you know, cuddle him senseless? I kind of found the dichotomy between Sam's mental space and Dean's to be really interesting, because S6... hasn't happened for Sam. He's still in the intense emotional spot of S5, while Dean's... had a year and a half. I'm not sure if he's hedging his bets because he's afraid of getting invested and having Sam's wall break, or if he feels guilty for lying, but... I wanted a little more there. Come on. Brother times.
