Originally, they were going to hook up, and Dean was going to be all, "So I know you haven't done this -" and then Sam was going to laugh at her and take over and be ridiculously hot, but uh. Whatever, they went the angstier route.

Oh oh that was so good. I rather like this hardened, over-sexed, cynical Sam, he's just a joy to watch and nnngh, but this was so so hot. All of it. And that last part, ah, so lovely.

Fuck this was good. Sammy as a little slut with the girls, barely even a mention of Dean until she's there shoving her jealousy and pain and drunken declarations in our face. This was fantastic.

I'm so glad that worked, because I kept being like... is this moving too fast? Uh, I think the point is that he's trying not to think about her so she shouldn't be at the front of this, even if she's underneath everything. And then I was unsure! So I'm glad it came out okay. <3.
