Red against the Treeline

May 25, 2005 15:01

I set a stone and lit a candle
In the corner of the field
The Sunstained grass
and colored glass
give your face a radiance
In the dying day
You rode away
And left me to sit on my own

While you rode along
I wrote this song
So bitter when you left me
I watched until you became a spot
Where the Sky and Earth Collided
It would have be wrong
To keep you so long
Do you remember how you left me

I have been meaning to ask you
since you returned
The feeling has never left me

Supposed to go out with Taffidy
Friday night.. i hope i can
Well probly go out to eat or
go to a movie or something, maybe both

This weekend with McCarthy is gonna
be fabtabulous if things go as planned

Im not in the least bit mad or hurt
by this all
