Swinging with the Oldies, A Girl Scout Gold Award Project
The Girl Scout Council finally approved my Gold Award project and I could use some help. For my Gold Award I am going to teach teens basic swing, waltz, and salsa. The next Saturday I am going to take these kids over to the retirement community where they will dance, play games, and talk with the senior citizens.

Swinging with the Oldies:
Saturday, July 16th, 2005 from 2:30 to 6:30 PM,
(the first hour or less will probably be a refresher in dance)
Westminster at Lake Ridge
12191 Clipper Dr
Please ask friends and acquaintances (ie your Scout troop or your 7th - 12th grade siblings' troop) if they would be willing to come and participate, come learn and dance with the senior citizens.
I am also in need of good music. If anyone has suggestions of good swing, waltz, salsa, or oldies music I would greatly appreciate it. If anyone would be willing to bring some of their CDs with them that would be excellent.
