Wow. Hadn't realized it had been so long since I was here.
Only current news of note is that Tom's follow-on assignment after Korea will be in Kansas. It was at the bottom of the wishlist, purely because it's a decent size city only a day from his parents, and then it turned out that NONE of the other bases on the list had an opening for him. We've driven through on the way to see his folks a couple times, and it seems okay.
But since it's freaking KANSAS, and I am a pro choice liberal feminist, I expect a lot of uses for my Yzma icon.
