January 6th
Four years ago, I watched the MAGA crowd storming the Capitol building in Washington. I was sickened, sad, and horrified. I thought for sure it would be the end of Trump. Who could support this man?
I've spent the last four years listening to Republicans claiming that January 6th didn't happen. Or if it did happen, it was peaceful. It was no worse than a group of tourists strolling around the building.
Now, I watched as once again Trump was given a chance to take the office again.
I fear for this country. I feel sorry for the people who were duped into voting for Trump thinking that he would do anything for them. He is a grifter who only thinks of himself and what is best for him. Mainly though, I feel angry that no one challenged this. Trump led an insurrection against the government. Legally, he should not be allowed to serve. If a law doesn't apply to everyone, it doesn't apply to anyone.
