Gone to North Carolina Land: Durham, Duke, Dearbat
Status: Busy, trying to get ready to leave the state. Sorry I've been out of touch with people. I miss many of you way too much, and I need to get my shit together soon so that I can see you again. Study/work get-together / coffee shopping anybody?
Why the status?: Need to finish writing this program for my Uni job before I leave for the weekend, because I need to be LEFT ALONE during this time so that Dearbat (aka Vanessa) and I can have fun, but almost as importantly, so that we can work on our business BIG TIME and get taxes done, and so that I can wrap up some projects that have been gnawing at me (due to their extreme necessity in keeping me from falling into unmanageable debt). If you call me during this time, you will get my voicemail unless you contributed either sperm or an egg to my existence as a human being.
WHAT?: I fricking love Duke University. I don't even go there, but I like living vicariously through those who do, and visiting often. They have the best work area / coffeeshop place EVER---all enclosed in glass. Lovely
How?: I had a plane voucher for when I went to Atlanta earlier this summer for ISNR but had to cancel because of an approaching hurricane.
When?: Feb 8-12.
