I was summoned for Jury Duty today, and it was all planned out, I found someone to cover my shift at work, and I was going to call and show up and do my Juror stuff. Except, I forgot I had Jury Duty, and went to work. When I got there, I looked at the DAS (Daily Assignment Sheet, it tells where everyone is working, gives the times for breaks, etc. etc.), and saw I wasn't on there, then BAM! I remembered that little Jury Duty thing I was supposed to do. I raced home and called the courthouse, and it turns out my Juror group wasn't even called, so I'm off the hook for another year, and I got the day off. Go me!
