I sold my FFXI account and bought a new iPod, mine was fucked. (Nope, not kidding)
So I will have no reason to post in this LJ anymore, as it's totally unrelated to anything I will do anymore!
If any of you understand this next part, I will be impressed...
I've become interested in developing using Ruby on Rails, opened a TxD account and am moving everything on to my new server which can support it. I hope to develop some web applications using AJAX style ownage very soon... working hard on mastering!
Soon I will be opening a new site over at http://www.phireweb.com/ - hope some of you drop in to take a look from time to time :)

FFXI isn't the same anymore.
I thought the expansion would hold redemption for the game. How wrong I was.
Japanese hold the economy.
Chinese gil sellers hold the NMs.
Konoha had hope right up until the point we could take Byakko and Kirin. Now we rely on Ulli. Good luck with that. GG SE fucking over and changing that from 2 hour spawn... hell I've been in end-game long enough to remember when you could get an ulli party you would have a 1/6 chance of lotting him at LEAST.... But alas. They had to fuck that over.
Anyways.... I wish the best of luck to Konoha and any other European players, hell, even the NA's... Good luck.
I've got all I'm going to out of the game, and I've sold it on. £200 for the past 2 years seems like a fair deal to me... Anyways, thanks everyone. See you around.
