And no, I'm not giving up my Birkenstocks either!

[general rant] It truly amazes me how some people I know link my silence on during a discussion to their own presumptions about me. It's almost laughable in a way, if it weren't annoying. . .especially when they're talking directly in front of me. A few of you may already know this (but some of you might not), but I'm a Democrat. i dig your democrat-ness. :) i just think you're wrong, that's all. hehehe.

but that's what's great about america isn't it? i at least respect the fact that you've arrived at your views *mentally*. it's a big difference than arriving at them *emotionally*. i grow tired of talking politics as well. there are few people who i can handle that sort of conversation with, without getting all irritated and worked up. i just tend to avoid those subjects now, even though i think about them, and have very passionate views about them.

you rock adam. even if you are on the wrong side of the political aisle.

:)

oh yeah. and i don't have an american flag in my car. on my desk. in my apartment window. anywhere, actually. i was just as patriotic before 9/11, and i didn't have those things then either.

you just wanna identify with the mormons because of the whole polygamy thing, huh? hee hee.

oh yeah. one more thing. more than your political leanings, you'll get crap from me about your sports teams. i don't care if detroit did beat the pants off the avs in game 7. i can still point to the lions... bwahahahaha...

that was offsides.

That so, huh? Well, I'm sticking with my Lions even if they don't have the same drive as the Wings next season - What can I say? I'm true to my hometown team.

In fact, I'm looking *very* forward to seeing Joey Harrington - northwest native, by the way, in action now that he's with the team. Joking aside, I'm not really expecting any miracles to happen, but I honestly don't think the Lions can do much worse than they did last year. It should make for some interesting Sunday games.

As for Carolina's so-called offsides argument from last night... well, I've heard it takes lots of hot air to make a hurricane. They seem to be living up to their name.

Hehehe
