Hope
The saying "Hope Springs Eternal" is very true.
Out of all the madness yesterday, I managed to spout about 3 minutes of serious stuff to Glenn (the boy not the girl). It was at KAP and it was about the different kinds of love God talks about. And at the end Faith, Hope and Love are the only things left.
Wow. In God we have a hope and a future. We are often so defeatist in our approach to life. Even when we try so hard to do something, we cannot bring ourselves to hope for a better future. I'm not saying that we don't have to change for the better or work harder; I'm saying we don't even have the faith that we with God we can be better than who we are.
True, salvation is not the dependent on ourselves; however we are not here to enter a cheatcode and just reach the fina stage in life. Would eternal life be any meaningful then? I guess living forever without meaning is just slightly better than burning forever. I would rather believe tha tomorrow will be a better day and ask God to allow it to be so, to change me and mould me and also to change others around me for the better.
I guess love is a tough topic. Ultimately we will never love anyone more than ourselves.
On a completely unrelated note, Ronda is the funniest person alive. Ever. To not go into showbiz for you is a complete waste.
