My time in Roma has almost come to an end. This makes me quite sad, but I'm also excited for what lies ahead. On Monday, we leave for our whirlwind tour of Umbria, a region to the north of here. After travelling around there for a week (with no class!), we head south to Calabria to our sleepy little village and our host families. I'm really going

Dude, if you really want to get sad about stolen Egyptian artifacts, you should visit the British Museum. No one steals other countries' shit as thoroughly as the English!

That's true. The sun never sets on the British empire, and all that. But still, the Vatican museum has the combined plundering prowess of the Roman Empire and the Catholic Church. It made me want to go to Egypt, but then, they probably haven't got anything left.
