My father, as many of you know, served in the US Air Force for his entire adult life. He joined when he was 18, and he died two months before his retirement was due to start. He was in military security for the bulk of his career, and toward the end moved over to the courier service. Because of these two jobs, he had to travel quite a bit. He ( Read more... )

What a scare that must have been. And Eric.... wow. Just wow. If I may, a system for keeping on top of things that has worked really well for me is Flylady.com. Take a look. It may not be for you, but it's about taking things in small steps and getting rid of clutter, and she has a well-organized system for it. Give it a look and see what you think. Phew! I'm so glad you found it! I once thought I'd lost my grandfather's marbles (feel free to laugh) and I was devastated!

And yeah, Eric gets big husband points, and lots of them. I've said it before and I'll say it again, there are countless reasons that I'm glad you two found each other!
