There is an argument that steroids don't help the hand-eye coordination needed to excell in hitting a baseball, that it doen'st help your batting average -- BUT when you do make contact, the ball does go farther if you are stronger and whose to say that more strength won't help a batter get the bat where he wants it faster because he can control the bat better and so still improve his overall hitting average. However, as to your situation, first things first. Learn to hit. Too bad, our Father-Son catches back in the good old days didn't stress the batting part as much as they could have. Maybe you can get really good and become a belated professional ball player to get a job in this economy when you come back to the U.S.? Not!!!
I love your communiques. Keep 'em coming.
Your Mets-fan Dad (they're off to a great start for the first time in years).
