My father knows where the Mexican restaurant is. Really
Sunday July 24-
We were on the trains most of the day finding our way to Tokyo! We are pretty tired and it was getting pretty late by the time we got settled in and everything so we went to eat at a Mexican restaurant! Now mexican food is a real rarity in Japan and it is even more rare to find some where they realize that ketchup with oregano in it isn’t salsa. So my father took me to the Mexican place that he knew about. He was an old hand at Tokyo by this point having hung out on his own and seen a concert and everything. So he took me to a Mexican place that he saw on his travels it was ... um right around... um should be around hmmm. After we started getting hungry we cut our losses and grabbed some Indian food. It was really good.
After that we walked back in the area were we were looking and found the place. It had been closed and the only sign was up a bit on the building. So my father was indeed vindicated and we knew a Mexican place where we could eat later. Then we went sleep. This is also the first in a series of running gags of, "but we looked here! We were here 4 times! Why didn't we see it?" I have a theory that some Japanese resturants, and bars were designed by elves and they slip in and out of reality to mess with us.
