It all began Friday evening...

As some of you may recall from out last episode, Friday Night I was supposed to go to a play.
And I did.
And it was coo' =)
It was an interesting semi-parody on the Lord of the Rings trilogy put on by a local theater group (a couple friends know someone that was in the play, which is how we heard about it). With only a moderate sized cast and hardly any props at all, they managed to squeeze most of the series into about 2 and a half hours. There were plenty of puns, jokes, and shenanigans, yet you ended up getting just about all of the information. It was a blast!

After the play, we ended up going to Perkins and eating things that are horribly bad for us. Always a good way to end the evening if you ask me!

Now we come to Saturday... (BUM BuM bum)
Actually, Saturday rocked
=) I slept in late, then headed over to P's to check out the new hair color. It is RED... like, Ronald McDonald red! The coon went for blue, which was definitely BLUE.
We had some Chipotle and then saw a matinee of Team America. It was not the best movie I have ever seen, but it did get pretty damn funny by the end. Now if I could only get the main theme song out of my head (AmEriCa... F*CK YEAH!).

And then... the pAr-TeH! Turns out this was sort of like a house party. Someone rented or was able to use the pent-house like party/conference room thing at the very top of the Marquette Luxury Apartments building (it is strange when you go to a house party and you do not even know who is throwing it... oh well!). I met Prutha, Stephanie, and Steve at Nami's and we walked down there to check it out.
This place was awesome! Several huge conversation areas, a pool table, a big screen TV, two bars, dance floor, and two hugh decks that overlooked the entire city and surrounding area from the 35 floor. We talked, we drank, we danced, we drank, we danced, we drank, we talked... did I mention we drank? Hey, it was like a $10 cover and then everything was free, and someone else covered my $10... need I say more? =)

After getting wonderfully smashed and rocking out, we walked over the the Loon Cafe. Unfortunately the kitchen was closed, so we left the Loon Cafe and went to Old Chicago. Chatted a bit, got some food, and finally headed home.
Well, home-ish. I was a bit too drunk to drive home and as the alcohol started to wear off I was totally exhausted, so I crashed at Prutha's for the night and got home about noonish on Sunday. Allie was a little pissed off... but she is still a bit fat, some I did not feel too bad =)

Sunday SUNday SUNDAY!! On Sunday, I really did not do much. Ran some errands, practiced guitar, hung out with some CompUSA peeps at Perkins, then drove P home from work and hung at his place for a little bit. It was nice to have a chill-out day =)

Wow! That was some flashback... time for pie.
[Oh!]
[Me oh my]
[I love pie]
