OH GAH! WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG?! * flips the bird *
Well, the Cosmic Steamroller just ran over my family again this week.
I lost a cousin in California to a fatal fall in a bathtub Monday/Tuesday night. He wasn't found til 8pm PT ( if I recall ). There's no telling how long he was there after he fell. I'm sure we'll find out later. Also my mother has been given a red-eye ticket to Sacramento, CA for the funeral and is returning on Sunday morning/late-early afternoon/early evening. Don't know which one yet.
My mothers bankruptcy was extended another fucking year for some unknown reason ( something is rotten in the state of Denmark about that if you ask me ). I'm thinking something hinky is going on, but no proof... So no fucking vacation to NJ once a-fucking-gain.
All of which in turn just sucked all the joy out of my 5ht anniversary yesterday. Not that that is important in light of everything else but you'd expect that to at least be joyous... * sighs * We did buy ourselves something for the occasion. More books from me ( Karen Marie Moning ^^ ), and a on sale video game for hubby.
Today is a mangled mess of running several places. Taking my dad to a Murfreesboro appointment after picking up my mother in 15 minutes. And then dropping him and my friend off there, and David going straight to the airport literally after that. And then David gets to pick up my father and friend and come home...
The only bright spot was going to the pool despite the small lousy spots. That was actually a picnic compared to the rest of the shit.
* sighs * Murphy strikes again...The vengeful bastard.
What's worse is that I didn't really get to know my cousin. There were no family reunions in the last 11 years. So I lost another family member I didn't get the pleasure of knowing. He was on FB, but even then he wasn't on very much.
