More Wandering Thoughts

So I was at my pharmacy ( Walgreens ) and I was perusing the makeup section and gasping over some of the prices of the name brand stuff.. Cover Girl, Maybeline, etc...And besides the outrageous prices, I noticed that liquid foundation seems to making a comeback.

To be honest, I hate liquid makeup. Give me cream to powder or give me death! Its really messy and when you use those spongy things you have to chuck them after about what? A month or less? I don't know about that since I don't use the stuff. I can see liquid eye concealer. Goes on smoother and it won't dry out as fast as the "lipstick" version. Again, I'm not sure since I don't use that either. And I really ought to use it. I've got nice dark circles under my eyes that are diminishing thanks to some stuff I'm using from Avon, but I'm currently not due to a 3 month extremely aggressive acne breakout that has been egged on by horrible bouts of stress.

Anyhoo...I went to the dr. back in December to get the skinny on some over the counter cleansers to help clear it without drying it out. Oh, did I mention along with the acne, I also had horribly dry skin on my cheeks and chin and an oily forehead that rivaled a slice of pepperoni. Then I accidentally dried both out too much and it went into over drive especially on my face. My forehead wasn't so bad. Actually it felt normal except for the beads of oil that I scraped off my forehead. ( Sorry if I squicked any of you I won't go into further detail on that note ) So I used Cetaphil. It did its job but barely. After five minutes of using it, I could literally feel the skin on my cheeks dry out. And my forehead didn't feel as good though. So I gave up on that and the stuff I bought from Avon. W_W

So back to today...I went in again after another violent explosion on my chin and my eyebrow, and the side of my nose in between my eye. That spot if you wore glasses the nosepads sat on it. It hurt like a motherfucker! I killed it though. Painful as hell. I probably shouldn't have done it, but dammit it hurt like Holy Hellfire. Anyway, I got some prescription shit today and I hope it works. I got a topical antibiotic, another cream and some gel thingy I can't remember their names. If this doesn't clear up I may go back on BC because if I can't wear my own product how can I "showcase" it to others? Maybe I'll get lucky and get pregnant this time and it'll be a moot point unless I have a mega explosion of acne. @_@ I've heard of that happening because of the hormone changes.

My other wandering thoughts go to other things that have wandered away. I'll have to get a special leash specially designed for brains. * >.> * Rotten bastards.
