So, I went to the doctor to find out the results of my latest blood draw for my thyroid and the NP said it was good. It was at 2.4, which apparently is good. * shrugs * I can't tell from the tortuous hot flashes I continue to endure.
I told him aslo of the ones that start at the top of my head and turn my whole body a nice delicate shade of pink and my hands bright fucking red. He said it might be from the B12 I'm taking but I've been taking it for about six months now and it wasn't up until my last blood draw ( not Tuesday but the one in March ) or rather just before that was when they started.
* sighs * And according to him its not because of my thyroid and its not because of my birth control so it was possibly the B12... * rolls eyes *
If that were true wouldn't something like that started when I started taking the B12 6 month ago?
Again I don't know my own body or when I started taking this or that.
However, the best part is I don't have to have my blood drawn until November 16. Six sweet months of my veins not being violated ( I hope! ). God...for the last 20 months, without fail, I have had my blood drawn for my thyroid every 6 weeks. I hope nothing happens in that time between. I don't want to have my blood drawn anymore. Its quite painful. Especially since the damn nurses can't find them in my left arm... * >.< *
Oh, and another thing..I've been put on Vitamin D. 2000 I.U's worth. Unfortunately for the prices that were being asked was ridiculous since I had to take it twice a day. So I told a little white lie and to the NP that I couldn't find any at all and asked about Super High-Potency Vitamin D-3 at 2000 I.U. and he said that was fine and only take it once a day instead of two.
@_@ Well, at least I'm on a lot of vitamin D now. Cause I was just taking Calcium + D 600 mg a day. I was supposed to be taking that twice a day too but uh..it clogged up the works so to speak. ( Sorry if that was TMI )
I wish I could get out more. But after this, I'm going to make a more concentrated effort to get out side and soak some up if I can. Oh, and drink more milk. :-)
I can't believe I'm that deficient in Vitamin D. O.O
