Donna Reid-Mitchell Event
Recently I went to the Donna Reid-Mitchell event in Brentwood, TN. Which is about 2 hours from my house.
And I want to say it was the best thing that happened to me. I was absolutely inspired by her. reading her book Accelerated Success made me realize that I'm uncomfortable with where I am at in my Avon career.
That was one of the things that she emphasized in her speech. To be uncomfortable where you are. To go out there and advance and not be afraid of it. She, with a baby stroller in NYC, after feeling uncomfortable with where she was out, accelerated her success. She wanted to make a better life for her kids. And she did that.
She talked with her district manager and asked her on what she can do to advance her career. And in 90 days, she did just that. And then, she wanted more out of Avon, she wasn't just happy to make what she was making and so sat down with her district manager again and worked out another 90 calendar on how she can go even farther.
And she did just that. So much so that in 20 months, built a 4.2 million dollar career with Avon.
And, now, I want to do the same thing. I want to be able to buy my son a house, two cars, one for me so I can have freedom of movement to expand my career, and one for my husband as he continues with his schooling. I want to give my family vacations in Paris if I wanted to.
I want to Accelerate my Success!
