Jamie, I'll always associate you with Shodai, the color purple and ... a whole long list of other particularities. And I will list them in a moment, but first I want to talk about how we met.
You were my first aquaintance at Shodai, you know. I am so glad to have rped my first log with you, because not only do you write so beautifully, your Neji vs. my Lee is just hilarity waiting to happen. Come to think of it, that was the first time either of us had ever rped a fight scene, too! And you know what, without having know each other for very long at all? We pwned it.
1. Your font is always purple. Always.
2. Outrageous.
3. Unbelievable.
4. The way you say 'I'll punch him/she/it in the FACE' always makes me laugh.
5. Am almost jealous of your photoshopping and layout skills, for serious.
6. Can't imagine any better interpretation of Hyuuga Neji than yours. You have spoiled me forever.
7. Your knees are divine.
8. Late night Teamgai chats, talking about nothing in particular.
9. Your inexplicable fascination with this Dane Cook person.
10. Our shared interests which include QaF and poetry and WHE, though Naruto should go without saying.
11. I admire your sense of responsiblity (modly duties and RL working duties and all)
- Make a post to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fun ("I'd love a Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
- If you wish for real possible things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa could get in touch with you.
- Make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ so that the holiday joy will spread!
Listed in no particular order...
1.) A laptop. Hey, I can dream.
2.) Foe someone to write a fic or a story, just for me. That would be nice.
3.) It is my fondest wish to visit Japan sometime in the near future; they say every Japan-phile must to visit mecca Kyoto at least once in their life. Or don't pass Go, you don't get the monetary compensation. Oh, the loot to be bought. Oh, the sights to be seen.
4.) To make my itooshi-tachi happy.
5.) Perhaps motiviation to study more seriously.
6.) A new battery for my mp3 player.
7.) A vacation! Destination doesn't even have to be Japan, but I'd like to visit somewhere out-of-country with my family. Would even settle for Canada or hyped-up Wales and Europe.
8.) A long epic fic.
9.) For Missy to teleport herself to Texas.
10.) Neil Gaiman's newest short story collection, 'Fragile Things.' Has anyone seen the cover? It looks impossible to resist, so white all over and pure and pretty. :D?
Alright. Now. I'm stealing this idea from Jamie; it seems like a good way to hit everyone on my flist. So would everyone who likes this sort of thing please submit the following information in a comment, about what kind of Christmas gift-fic you would like?
Fandom; Naruto, Original universes (you who know, know what they are), anime, HP, etc
Pairing and/or Main Character;
Type; i.e. Romance, humor, angst, fluff etc.
Something you absolutely want in the fic; Optional
Something you absolutely don't want in the fic; Optional
that you probably don't know about me. At first I assumed that everyone on my flist had done this one by now, and so I'd missed out on the chance to torment you, but nope.
1. I'm nervous around escalators. Not sure where that quirk originated, (might have been that one movie I saw years ago, where the girl's hair gets caught on the killer escalator's teeth? Bah, daytime tv.) But maybe not even that because ever since I can remember, I've had this thing. I hate it when the ground moves under my feet unexpectedly, or without my express control. Skates & Skateboards = not to be trusted.
2. Officially my favorite soda is root beer, though coke is to me like beer was to the working-class peasants. At my house we live off the stuff. Which is to say, I grew up drinking non-caffeinated coke when everyone else had to drink water and milk and juice (my idea of rebellion is to drink all the milk in the house). What were my parents thinking? I mean, there's still caffeine in it, and everyone knows you shouldn't give small children caffeine and sugar. :D
3. I worry sometimes that I my eyelashes won't grow back, the ones that I pluck at, when I'm nervous or bored.
4. My computer's name is Cal, which is short for Calanthe (He is the CAL of my heart; The others: Callisto or Calenture or Callandrial are beautiful fictional characters but simply cannot compare. No matter what they try to tell you.)
5. One time when I was really, really young I once watched the Judds perform live on tv, at my Grandparents' house, and loved them. There you go. I like country music? But only sometimes! I-- I -- sometimes enjoy bluegrass. And I LOVE the Oh Brother, Where Art Thou OST.
6. I have absolutely no bloody idea what my favorite book is. And I doubt I ever will.
And now to tag six people. If you're not too busy with Nano and life and such. Tagging~

RRJuuhachimissy-chanxandras_coffee In other news I will be running around campus this weekend, trying to get as much done as possible, before Thanksgiving Break arrives and I become useless. May post up a to-do list later if I remember. Therefore! If you see me online too often, kick me or something.
