All this work is taking its toll. Not because of the work itself, though I'm not saying that's a picnic, but because I'm doing so much of the same thing every day, each day melts into the other to the point where I can't tell the difference between them any more. I've literally been going around all day thinking it's Monday, and it came as a shock

I didn't realise what post this comment was on at first - that mightily confused me!
But the thing that most scared me about your comment was the texting every day thing...because I know you will actually do it.
Thanks for the comment, m'darling! xxx

Unsolicited advice: Essential oils of juniper berries, rosemary, lemongrass, lemon, eucalyptus, and peppermint are all good against sore muscles, painful joints, and gloom. A few drops of 2 or 3 of these oils mixed in with a cup of milk and a spoonful of honey will make a nice bath too. :)
I'm kind of confused about the days too. Today's a bank holiday here and I keep thinking it's Saturday because I didn't have to wake up early.
You know, maybe it's the autumn. It screws everyone up a little, wouldn't you say?

It does. It suddenly gets very cold, hair can go static at the lightest touch, back to work, creeping darkness...and to top it all off, we've still got daylight savings to look forward to. (An extra hour in bed? What am I complaining about???)
