Question to graphics-y people!

HELP!

I'm making the banners for the Brad icon competition (yes, I am encouraging you to vote), but one or two of them are animated icons - is it possible to include the animated icon(s) in the banner retaining the animation, or can I only do it as a still image?

Well, being banned from that comm, I won't vote, but in regards to the animated icons...what program are you using? If you're bringing it into photoshop, then yes, I think you'll have to deal with a still image, but if you're using image ready or something that works with animation, it might be a different story. My copy of image ready has never worked, unfortunately, so I can't test that. But if anything, you may be able to import an animated gif into a program that you make animated gifs with, break it down and remake the banner itself into an animated gif.

Yeah, I'm using Photoshop. I do have ImageReady, but my version doesn't work properly, either.
Rats...oh well, I'll just have to use the frame that defines the icon.

Ah, all those cracked copies of image ready floating around. :P You could always go scouring the net for a program that might work. But then, that's a lot of work in itself. Good luck with whatever you decide to do. :)

I do have a programme with what you can do it easily. Can you paste one animation to another?
I can make you bases.
