I am becoming the Queen of Getting Noticed By Comics At Their Shows!
At Sean Lock's gig, he winked at me because I started up a round of applause.
At Francesca Martinez's gig, she said "That's fucking brilliant!" when I said shouted the Meaning Of Life was sex.
We were in the SECOND ROW!!! I had no idea until we got to the theatre, and I nearly fainted!
Anyway, for the WHOLE of the first act, his shoelaces were really bugging me - under certain light they looked black, but I was fairly sure they were blue, then for the majority of the second act the right lace looked blue and the left one looked black.
So, at the question bit at the end, I asked him:
ME: Are your shoelaces blue?
MICHAEL: Yes. Next question. No, actually, wait, go back to that last one. "Are your shoelaces blue"!? That is without a doubt the most bizarre question I've ever been asked!
ME: Well, I wasn't sure if one was black and one was blue.
MICHEAL: No, they're both blue. *cue mini-rant about shoelaces, which I can't for the life of me remember*
Now, because of me and the guy in front of me who asked him why he didn't have a warm-up act, he thinks the whole of Wimborne town is "weird". XD
Not a bad achievement for one night's work! ^^
Oh, and I was also making him giggle throughout the show because I was just in breathless hysterics whenever he told a joke. Any of you who have ever witnessed me in breathless hysterics will know just how contagious it is, and on this occasion it managed to spread to the stage.
He also pointed out the crappy phone reception we have around here, which I ADORE him for! He got all excited when he got us to check our phones and learned a few of them had a couple of bars of signal! :D
Rich Hall is a week on Saturday. Then I've just got Andy Parsons and Jimmy Carr to sexually harass irritate. ^_^
