last night in madrid
the girls left for their flight to ibiza tonight. i went out to finish off some night photography, and then went back to the hotel and had a bubble bath = pure bliss. baths make my life.
i have a full day tmrw to take in the city before my 10:45pm flight. i'm totally going to louis vuitton and buying a clutch bag that i've wanted since FOREVER (http://www.ilvoelv.com/2008/10/louis-vuitton-damier-eva-clutch.html). it's like 50 bucks cheaper than in canada if you take canadian taxes into account. plus, when you buy things in spain that are 90 euros or more, you can get a 18% value-added tax return at the airport before your return flight. so it comes out to roughly $500 as opposed to $650. pretty sweet deal if you ask me. plus, the LV store is right around the corner from the hotel.
can't believe the first week is over already. one more week then it's back to reality. i totally forgot that i have two full days to spend in santiago de compostella. i definitely won't need the full two days to see what the town has to offer. so the second day will be laundry and catching up on sleep. it'll be some good down-time before london =)
