I Knew It~!
I had a feeling that this was coming.
My brother and his wife sent us gifts, this year, and they wanted to watch us open them over a video conference. I was thinking about why they would want that, and there was only one obvious answer. When I saw the picture frames that they sent us, it turned out that I was right.
I'M GONNA BE AN AUNT!
I'm really happy for them, since they both love kids. In fact, my brother said that he wanted to be a dad, as soon as possible. And last month, I was talking with my mom, about how I was hoping they could get the chance to start their own family, soon, as well. I may not like kids, but I know those two would make for excellent parents.
Well, it's still pretty early for me to be saying this, but I've been planning on taking a trip back home, sometime next year. They're thinking that the baby will come, sometime in August. So, I'll consider planning around that.
Maybe having a niece or nephew, with such awesome parents, will help me like kids, a little bit more. After all, adopting Elwood has made me like dogs. So, going by the logic, I might start liking kids, this way? To be honest, despite that, I'm really excited about this! I've been playing around with this idea, in my head, for a while, and now I get to see how it'll turn out.
If anything, though, this'll make for some interesting moments at work, this afternoon. ^_^
