Seitokai no Ichizon was a series that I checked out in the fall of 2009, for one simple reason. Takashi Kondo was voicing the male lead. I was expecting the show to be another really stupid harem series, but I was pleasantly surprised with what I ended up with. Clannad may have given me a warm feeling, amongst all the depressing stuff, and Tenchi gave me a lot of laughs (Barring Tenchi in Tokyo, but who didn't hate that one?). SeiZon, however, gave me heartwarming and hilarious in the same setting.
It's probably the only harem series, where I've enjoyed all the members of the harem, too. Kurimu, Chizuru, Minatsu, and Mafuyu were all a major joy to watch, and I loved how they handled Ken's antics. Although, I do admit to favoring Mafuyu. At first, I was thinking Chizuru would be my favorite, but...MAFUYUUUUUUUUU! Mafuyu seriously killed me with her fujoshi moe, numerous times. On the other hand, I have no problem shipping them all with Ken. They're his harem, after all. :P
Ken, himself, is one of my two favorite harem protags of all times, as well. The other would be Tomoya from Clannad. Ken's a man who knows what he wants, and he has no problem showing his perversion to the world. However, he's a pretty nice guy. He'll go through extreme lengths to make sure that the girls are happy. After all, they all saved him, in the past.
You see, Ken once went through some relationship drama, that caused him to go into a depression. After having chance encounters with all four of the girls, he picked himself back up and wanted to join the student council, as a means of paying them back. So, while he does go on and on about how the student council is his harem, it's mainly just Ken blowing hot air and acting like a dork.
And now, we have a second season...that I need to catch up on. I only watched the first episode, and thought that I should wait until they actually show it on TV. SeiZon 2 has been airing on Nicovideo, but it's supposed to air on TV next season. I know I've watched low quality-streamed subs before, but it really doesn't look good on my laptop. However, I'm curious as to how the season's been going, so far. I might go ahead and check it out, but I'm okay with waiting for better quality, too. Hey, I may like SeiZon, but it's not like Geass, Gundam, and T&B, where I'm chomping at the bit for the latest releases. *shrugs*

And since I mentioned T&B, I found the two latest dub episodes online. Finally got to hear Lunatic's debut...and it was hot as Hell. OH, MY GYAAAAAHD! LUNATIC'S VOICE IS MADE OF TOTAL FREAKING SEX! I mean, I know I refer to his VA as Liam of the Sexy Voice, for a reason, but goddammit! This is probably the sexiest I've ever heard him! As Yuri, he's a serious and confident professional, but as Lunatic, he's a total sex demon. Ah~! I was expecting good things from Liam voicing Yuri, and I got what I wanted and then some.
