G00 2-21

Despite one depressing thing happening, this episode was awesome!

The bad news is Hong Long sacrificed himself for Wang; who in turn, didn't care about her brother's sacrifice. Dammit, Hong Long! You deserved better than to give up your life for that selfish bitch! T_T And what makes it worse; things were going to fast, that I couldn't cry for him. We shall have a moment of silence for the passing of the Kung Fu Butler.

The good news, Wang ended up dying shortly afterwards. Before Nena came and killed Hong Long, we learn her shallow reasons for her being a backstabbing bitch. Apparently, Hong Long was incompetent, and she had to take over for the Wang family at an early age. Okay, so she's basically doing this because she's butthurt about her older brother's inability to make decisions for himself. I guess that answers my question of why he allows her to treat him like she does.

Then, there was the Fight of the Yanderes. We finally get Louise vs. Nena, but it was really short. Louise finally kills Nena, avenges her family, and continues deeper down her insane self-destruction. I can either see her dying or living on in a vegetative state. I'd prefer the former, but I guess they have to make all the Saji/Louise bullshit pay off somehow.

Setsuna's becoming more like an Innovator, with the glowing eyes and stuff. Also, Lyle's decided to fight to avenge Anew. No surprise there, but he also pointed a gun at Setsuna behind his back. I guess I shouldn't bitch about that because Neil did the same thing, but...I dunno. He's just going to be one of those characters that I'll mindlessly hate for no reason, I guess.

Klaus got shot in the arm, and he thinks Marina's song will be the key to peace. -_-' Um, hate to break it to ya, Klaus, but that's about as idealistic as one can get. Is he a Macross fan or something?

What really made the episode for me was Hamu-sama. -tears of joy- Finally, my Hamu-sama has come back to his senses. He showed up to challenge Setsuna, standing out in space, without his mask on, and Susanoo (Masurao's new name) is painted in his Flag's colors. According to what he said, he became one of Ribbons' pawns by choice. HAMU-SAMA NO BAKA! If it weren't for Nena's killing spree, we could have gotten more out of the fight. Nonetheless...

HAMU-SERVICE OVERLOAD!!!!! Ah~! Getting to see Hamu-sama's scarred naked body made my night! Oh yeah, those scars definitely add to his appeal. Why he wanted to keep them covered is beyond me. I always thought that he'd be the kind who'd want to show them off. Still, it was nice to have Sunrise pander to something that's highly relevant to my interests, for a change. Now, if only Katagiri was included. >.>

Next week: It looks like Marina, Shirin, and the kids are going out to space. Oh, joy! They really are going to pull a Macross, aren't they? I really don't want this to end with the song and everyone dropping their weapons. That's just way too cheesy for this show. Also, Graham's coughing up blood again. T_T

While I'm thinking about it, Ali's been missing for some time now. He needs to make one more big kill before he gets offed. -eyes Marina and the kids-
