Ok so fanime. Brief synopsis I guess.....
Sunday: Don't rememember, I think my fever went down completely on this day. Man oh man, I am never going to try home waxing again. So sticky. Not painful, just sticky and ineffective.
Monday: Don't really remember what happened.
Tuesday: Ditto Sushi this night, yum.
Wednesday: Ate at outback. Yum.
Thursday: ARRRGH! I have neve been so infuriated in my entire life. Steven's mom had to go out, because it was her party night, so we had to stay at Steven's grandma's. This, in itself, is not bad. What happened, was bad. I had a lab that was due today, but I couldn't do it because I 1) Was absent the day of the lab 2) Forgot my chem book at home. So Mrs. G said that I could turn it in on Friday, which meant I Had to do it all on thursday. But I MISSED the lab, I was absent due to sickness, so I didn't know what to do. So I got my info from my lab partners, BUT, when we were leaving for steven's grandma's, since she was saying "Come on come on come on" every 30 seconds, I left the paper with all the info THERE. So I had a chem book that I had borrowed from class, but no directions to follow! SO I wanted to go back to steven's to pick up the paper, but they wouldn't let me. (they being steven's grandma/mom). so I asked Andy (LUCKY FOR ME) to send me a copy of his lab via computer. However. Steven's grandparents have awful computers. Steven's grandma's is hooked up to the printer, but it has no microsoft word. So I had to open it on steven's grandpa's, copy it into their file, and open it on hers to print it. HOWEVER I was not this lucky. They don't have java, so naturally, hotmail didn't work. SO, I had to go down to carl's computer, and open it there. BUT, the internet wouldn't connect. THEN, it connected, but it wouldn't go to hotmail. I had to go to google, search hotmail, to get to hotmail. So I forwarded the message to yahoo so it could me opened on the other computers. So I did that. And then, once I did that, I opened it up, and it was rtf file, so everything was CODE. So I had to sift through code for an hour to find the actual lab report. That was difficult. Especially because it had to be in data tables, so it was hard to figure out what went where. So yeah.
Friday: Awesome. Turned in my lab. Fanime: Not as many people there as there were on sunday and saturday. But Awesome all the same. There, sadly, wasn't much going on. And lucky us, Steven's car broke down. His mom had to drive us there after getting his car towed. It was the thing where; whenever he turned the wheel, the car would stall. Repair: 1400 dollars. Yuck. So she drove us there, dropped us off. I was wearing a school uniform, complete with a bow thingy, cat ears, can tail, loose socks, awesome shoes, and my gloves/spikey braceletes. Over the weekend, a total of 7 people took my picture o_o but the last guy took my picture 3 or 4 times. So yeah. Kinda weird. Everytime steven left, people asked to take my picture XD. I blame the socks. Anyway, there weren't many panels this year. that kind of sucked, it was mostly just anime... So friday was boring. We met up with jeffy though, which rocked. Oh yeah 8 people, but he didn't seriously want to take my picture, he just did that to get our attention. Anyway, so we were doing stuff. Ate at johnny rockets. I had fries and that's it XD their burgers are too much food. We got back relatively late and went to sleep late after watching case closed. Kind of an addicting anime, I decided. Oh yeah, we also watched redeath. Hella funny. We know the gendou in real life. He's carl =) And I used his computer XD. He's a pimp-man. On his dresser he has photos of women with big boobs wearing towels saying "mile-oue, love you" because he has a fake name he tells people, I guess. It was hilarious. But yeah, we know the real life version =) I watched steven play ddr. I hate that game, it's so lame... People look so stupid when they play it >.>; sorry if you like it, or whatever, but I think people just look silly. It's like when you watch someone chew gum, they look like a cow. People doing ddr look like dancing undead.
Saturday: Good day. We woke up and headed over to fanime, much fun. This day had more people and a LOT more cosplayers. There were a lot of naruto people this year, unlike last year. Last year you were lucky to get a crappy kakashi, but this year, wow. Kakashis had their books, the single eye, the scar, the right hair, the right height, everything. It rocked. There was even a chouji who was huge, and REALLY looked the part. Then there was the puppet man. Kankuro? I always forget his name, and his friend dressed like the puppet, it was awesome. Best costume. A few good narutos were seen, some bad gai-sensei's, a great initial D group XD, school girls, cat girls, sasukes (good and bad), a LOT of itachis. Clouds, very few squalls, lots of really crappy sakuras, inu yasha peoples, very few kenshins (as opposed to last year), one ranma 1/2 pig man, one ranma 1/2 panda man, anbu people, haku, a few zabuzas, one hokage, a few jiraiyas, one REALLY good jiraiya who I wanted to glomp, a few good gaaras (but none were good enough to shave their eyebrows), a few Furi Kuris peoples, less than last year, one harry potter o_o, one draco, and one hermione.. Odd. One darth vader, one storm trooper, very few sailor scouts, two AWESOME vash people. One was red/blonde vash, the other was black/silver vash, and they always walked together. They were tall too, so they were perfect. I wanted to glomp them out of happiness because they didn't screw up. There was also a female vash that was pretty good, and a vash with bullet holes in the bottom of his costume which was a good vash, a few fuus, one umi, one hikaru, one REALLY bad and embarrassing tasuki, one REALLY bad hotohori, with a really bad nuriko, a few game people. Yeah... Naruto forehead things were in this year. EVERYONE had them. I got two =D One of an easy version to just put on, and the more authentic one. Umm... Yeah. Oh yeah, one AMAZING sound village guy, really good, a few bad orochimarus, one good one. Yeah. I forget everything else.
Sunday: Der Cosplay! It was REALLY boring this year. The very best, was this one where it was RO =D It had a novice, sitting with a sign saying "Tank plz" (ahh, so true XD), and then a merchant, trying to max his prophets, a priestess casting stuff on the merchant to increase stats, and then an archer came, hunting baphomet with a wizard. The sounds that they used turned into a song of the different sounds for each action, it rocked. And then the baphomet wiped them all out except the sitting novice, who got up, unshiethed their dagger, poked it, and killed it, and got MVP, and the other dead bodies did the "OMG" face XD It was so freaking... That has happened to me, so many times, it's ridiculous. Other than that, it was pretty stupid. There was one sort of ok gravitation one. It thought it'd be better, but they were singing along with the song, so it was kind of lame, and you couldn't really hear them anyway. The worst was this LAME two act thing about the 7 singing mermaids, or something. They sang to kill their enemies, who sang to kill them. And if they had the 7 pearls, the bad guys gained singing powers. It was lame. they had REALLY bad mics. These two slutty bad guys were dancing around in leather with the mics hanging from wire down their backs. It looked like they had blue dildos floating around behind them.... And it was TWO acts. They did like 7 songs total, it was a waste of time. And then there was one ffx guy doing song. I FELT SO BAD FOR HIM, everyone booed him because he was a bad singer. I felt so bad for him, I wanted to cheer but. Yeah. OH I think there was a para kiss one! It had the girl with pink hair running by, a cool looking guy, a girl with blue flowers in her hair and on her dress, a school guy, a count guy, and a woman/man. I didn't realize it until after they passed by, I was like "wait.. All of those people add up to PARADISE KISS!" Ate at jack in the box for the first time. It was an interesting experience. What else? Ate at in n out one of the nights. And sushi on another. I wonder who won der cos play, we didn't stick around to find out. We got lost trying to get out of san jose in the dark. Steven's car had been fixed on saturday, so we had it to drive around.
Monday: almost no one there. Scary. A lot of the good costumes had left. Dealer room was almost empty. Steven bid in a live action and got an awesome ddr pad for 65 instead of 100 dollars. Ate at johnny rockets again. Had a burger this time. Service was crap. Didn't wear school girl outfit this time, I wore my awesome new nana shirt =) Um. Went to the closing ceremonies. We lined up really early, so we got to sit behind the guest idol =X She's so pretty. Anyway, I hung around stacy's art table when they were doing doodles for change to get a hotel room for their friends who lost their car keys. I hope they're ok. Left pretty early this time, right after the closing ceremonies. We went home and had bbq, and studied.
Purchases:
+ Cell phone decoration thing. Little dangly string with a gaara/lee medallion and a little red bell. It's cute, the package said "In the hidden konoha village, there is a story that everyone knows but Naruto" XD They had awesome pairings, but no sasuke/naruto! Scary. Lots of kabuto/kakashi pairing though. Strange.
+ Kumagoro tank - AWESOME. It's black, with the pink kumagoro and "gravitation" on it. Must wear soon.
+ Nana shirt. I was so thrilled to get this, even if it's just ok. I guess it's tour info for blackstones and trapnest of 2004 or something. It's got a picture of nana and ren hugging *_* eek. It's a tank too, it's got a hood, and front pouch pocket =D
