Spring

Spring reminds me of Quidditch. Waking to the still-crisp morning air and flying alongside him, chasing the snitch in seemingly endless games of one-on-one, Seeker vs. Seeker. It's exhilarating. Sometimes we are on the pitch before the break of dawn, and we watch the sunrise from atop our brooms. Sometimes the sun's light dancing in his eyes is my preferred view. And I challenge you to discover a better sight that him in his Quidditch leathers. Go on, I dare you.

Summer

The summer brings with it walks along the beach. Call it clichéd if you like, but walking hand-in-hand with him, feeling the sand beneath our feet, and hearing the ocean lapping up against the shore, is one of the most wonderful things in the world to me. After living through war, seeing atrocities, facing death, the little things like an ocean breeze and the tranquility of a walk with someone you love are to be cherished. Besides, he looks absolutely delicious with his bare chest glistening in the sunlight.

Autumn

The fall is the season it all began for us. The season in which we moved on with our lives, tried to get past the war, talked - actually talked - for the first time. A lot happened that first year, and strange as it may sound, I always look at the autumn as a time of starting fresh. I know many people think that way about spring, but for me it's the fall. And seeing his naked skin against the backdrop of the changing leaves as we make love in the forest ... well, that's a sight to behold.

Winter

Winter is the time of year when we both get to be boys again. We get to live out the childhood fun that we didn't experience together growing up. It's a time of discovering new things, both Muggle and magical. We are together in this time of discovery. We have fallen together, picked each other up, brushed snow off each other and yes, even built snowmen together. Frosty had nothing on our creations. But most of all, when the day is done, I love to make love by the fire, watching the colours of the flames dancing over his body. In his warmth, in his embrace, I know I'm home.
