Tuesday: Things To Be Excited About
Things I am excited about today:
1. This book.
2. "Glycerine" by Bush. This song has been HAUNTING ME.
3. THE CITY FLEA. I freaking can't wait, and if this happens to be a good/productive week, I might treat myself to seeing roller derby the same night.
4. OK GO LIVE ALBUM? AND A BOOK?!?!?!?!?! OMGGGGGGGG.
5. Three weeks from tomorrow, we leave for Disney World!
6. Last night, I was cleaning and came across a CD in a photo envelope. It was dated 8.18.2005. I never put photos on CDs (not for myself), so I was perplexed. Exploring the CD in my computer revealed HUNDREDS of pictures from Newsies and JCS I didn't even know I had!
7. Brave. I am so torn on this. It looks really, really beautiful, but reading the article will reveal that the director (who was originally meant to be the first female director of a Pixar movie and later was removed from the position) based the story off of her daughter. DAMN IT, PIXAR, STOP BEING A BOYS' CLUB. It's a very short article, but I found it enlightening, frustrating, and sad, despite the beautiful art.
(...I'm not so much excited about that last one as thoughtful.)
