Two tears in a bucket...
'Ello loves. Updating from my grandparent's house up at York beach. I seem to be here quite a bit this summer, since I haveto drive my mom and my brother here. She works at a gift shop for a summer job and Aidan has a 2-hr improv class in town, so I've been turned into the Connell Taxi cab. Friggin sucks. I like seeing the beach, but not when its raining like a bitch and I have no one to shoot the shit with or money to spend. BUT HEY, what are ya going to do!?
Yesterday was...well there's really no words that could sum up yesterday. (a few of you understand, lol). Well I met mark and alex at Dunk's on elm at 9 to grab a bite to eat before we wen over to the palace to see Cinderella because we're total nerds and have a sick obsession with all things palace theatre related. The show was wicked cute...haha I loved seeing all the little girls intheir disney store princess attire...it brought a little tear to my eye...I used to be one of them. <3 Afterwards we grabbed some lunch at the Gala...then I got my 1500th parking ticket because the city of manchester has no fuckin life and waste their time giving tickets to people who havnt even run out of time!!....*phew* needless to say, I'm a bit upset. Mark and I have really bad luck with parking, i think the city waits for us to come and then tries to get us.
But anywho...after lunch me and alex went back to her house and practiced one dance, but that got boring, so we watched "Down With Love"--probably one of the cutest movies ive ever seen. I would give anything to live in NYC in the retro-60's time, spending time in Catcher Block's tricked out pad and make love to him all the time. Atleast that's what Alex and I are planning on doing, haha.
So I left at 4 and got ready...then went to rehearsal at 6. There's not much to say about rehearsal....WELL, there's a WHOLE LOT to say, but there's no need to tell the whole internet. My thoughts for the night can be summed up by the statement of a transvestite in " Midnight in the garden of good and evil" ( John Cusack movie...see it)--" TWO TEARS IN A BUCKET, MOTHAFUCK IT".
so I stayed up till 1 last night, which i don't usually do, but i didn't feel like sleeping. I finally did get to bed..however I was woken 6 TIMES starting at 5am by our smoke detectors going off every 10 minutes...I'm not sure who's sick idea it was to make a machine that only goes off when there isn't any friggin smoke, but if there IS smoke, it doesnt work. Figure that one out. SO, I didn't sleep well, and today I'm a zombie.
TONIGHT, finally something to do. Taylor need me as support on a date with a guy we know, so I'm being put on a blind date with his friend. I'm excited, I have a chance to dress up and go out...and maybe he'll even be cute if God loves me and finally decides to send a male my way.
WELL....I'm gonna go stare at the wall for a bit until I need to pick my cousin up from work and drive back to manch. Keep it real. <33
